How does Pearch work?
Pearch works in the same way as other search engines. When a user makes a search with us, we connect them to the most relevant response, based on your search query, to help them find the information which they need.
How does Pearch make money?
Like many websites, we generate revenue through advertising. As you browse search results and content, you will see adverts on the site. The revenue which we generate from the advertising is used to invest and donate to causes which our users select.
How does Pearch choose its causes?
When a member signs up to join Pearch, we ask them which causes are most important to them. We use this information to divide up the profits which we give back to our causes. Each cause investment strategy is made up of a combination of working with partners who are changing the world now, and investing in people & technology who are changing all our futures. Whats the difference between Pearch and Google?
We actually work with Google to provide you with the best results available. When you make a search on Pearch, you are actually tapping into the Google Search results technology. The key difference is that we invest/donate at least 50% of our profits to causes which make the world a better place.
What happens to my data?
When a user decides to become a member of Pearch, we capture minimal information about the user. We use this information to communicate with our members, and, if opted in, occasionally send them promotions from our partners. Unlike other search engines, we do not store your search history or browser behaviour, giving you full control over your search digital footprint.

Donation Questions
How does Pearch invest in causes?
Based on the revenue which we generate through advertising, we commit at least 50% of our profits and invest/donate these to the causes which are most important to our users.
How can I see my contribution?
We are currently working on a member dashboard product, here you will be able to see how many searches you have made and how much that has contributed to your chosen causes.
How do I know where the investment is going?
Each month we will publish a financial report which will outline our total earnings as well as how we have distributed our products so you have full transparency on where your efforts are going.
